Developer’s Description

MPCluster

MPCluster identifies groups or clusters of pushpins in your pushpin data. MPCluster can then draw a boundary shape around each cluster and mark each cluster’s center with a pushpin. MPCluster lets you set the maximum number of clusters to find. Minimum and maximum size limits can also be set for the clusters. It features find clusters from thousands of pushpins, can work with all pushpins or just a specific pushpin set, find clusters within a number of size constraints, and clusters can be drawn as boundary shapes and central locationsMPCluster is a handy add-in for Microsoft MapPoint that performs cluster analysis on MapPoint pushpin (point) data. Cluster results can be drawn as map annotation (centroid pushpins and/or cluster boundary shapes) and exported to Microsoft Excel. Various parameters can be used to restrict the minimum or maximum size of clusters, as well as the maximum number of clusters to find.

1: What does the registration key mean?
A registration key is a one-of-a-kind ID generated by the FME Licensing Assistant from system data. It's Safe's way of limiting a single fixed license to a single computer.

2: What is a registration key number?
A registration key is a code of letters and numbers that allows access to one of the many Thomson Reuters products, such as Westlaw, CLEAR, Firm Central, and more.

3: What is the registration key?
Each person will create an individual user account by entering the customer's account number, an online registration key (available from your local dealer), and basic billing and shipping address information. The account administrator will be the first account created.

Benefits include:
1. Find clusters from thousands of pushpins.
2. Can work with all pushpins or just a specific pushpin set.
3. Find clusters within a number of size constraints.
4. Clusters can be drawn (annotated) as boundary shapes and/or central locations.
5. Ability to manage existing cluster annotation from previous MPCluster runs.
6. Cluster assignments can be written to a Microsoft Excel workbook.

Additional features, include:
1. Annotation (boundary shapes) support all of MapPoint’s colors and line thickness settings.
2. Ability to limit the maximum cluster radius.
3. Ability to set the minimum and/or maximum number of pushpins per cluster.
4. Ability to set the minimum distance between adjacent cluster centers.
5. Ability to delete the annotation from previous cluster calculation run(s).
6. “Draw circle” function draws circle annotation around previous cluster centers.
7. Walk-through tutorial.
8. Supports all geographic editions of MapPoint.
9. Works with the latest MapPoint 2010.
10. Windows 7, Vista and XP are all supported.

MPCluster can be run multiple times overlaying multiple annotation layers to aid comparisons. Annotation from old runs can be selectively deleted. Possible applications include: Finding sales territories, finding the best shop / distribution outlets; and finding hot spots in product sales. Give MPCluster a try to fully assess its capabilities!

Requirements:
* NET Framework 2.0;
* Microsoft MapPoint 2006 (or later)
Limitations:
* 14 days trial

MPCluster -Find clusters in your Microsoft® MapPoint® data points.MPCluster identifies groups or clusters in your MapPoint data. MPCluster can then draw a boundary shape around each cluster and/or mark each cluster’s center with a pushpin. MPCluster supports most of MapPoint’s different dataset types, but is typically used with pushpin (point) datasets or shaded area datasets.

MPCluster lets you set the maximum number of clusters to find. Minimum and maximum size limits can also be set for the clusters. These constraints can also be defined using a data field.

Benefits :
– Find clusters from thousands of pushpins.
– Can work with all pushpins or just a specific pushpin set.
– Find clusters within a number of size constraints.
– Cluster centers can be weighted using a dataset data field.
– Clusters can be drawn (annotated) as boundary shapes and/or central locations.
– Ability to manage existing cluster annotation from previous MPCluster runs.
– Cluster assignments can be written to a Microsoft Excel workbook.
