ImageSort

Okay, so you have downloaded a whole lot of images with BlogBot, and now you want to sort the images into different folders, of course. But opening a download folder in Windows Explorer and manually dragging and dropping files to different folders is a tedious task, and there is a good possibility that you drop them on the wrong folder. ImageSort is a tool application that lets you select a given folder and define buttons that will send images to folders of you choice with only one click of a button.

Here are some of the program features: You can define as many download folders as you like and easily switch between them For each download folder, you can define a number of buttons that will send the images to a given folder All you need to do then is selected the download folder of your choice. The first image will be shown. Simply click the destination button, and the image will be moved to that folder. There’s no simple way to organize photos nowadays because we all have so many of them. Image-Sort attempts to make sorting your photos easier.

A tutorial will appear on the first run to walk you through using the app. You can create as many folders as you like and even your Camera Roll and Pictures album. Once you have your folders created, you can start processing images. You can skip, move, delete, rename, or undo.

Keyboard shortcuts are available including:

F2 for selecting the folder
F3 to create a new folder
F5 to open the currently selected image in the explorer
Enter to enter the currently selected folder
Escape to leave the current folder
up- and down-arrow-keys to select a folder to move to
right-arrow-key to move the image into the selected folder (or one folder upwards if you select “..”)
left-arrow-key to skip it
ctrl + left-arrow-key to revert the last action done (move/skip)
ctrl+s toggles the search bar, allowing for quick searches for the folder you need. Close hide the search bar again to resume using the arrow keys to sort images. You can also achieve this by pressing the “Search” button

Central workflow

On the left you have your folders. It’s a tree, so you can access all your sub-folders. You can also pin folders, either the selected one (“Pin selected”) or a manually picked one (“Pin”), making them easier to access, but also making it possible to f.e. sort images from one folder into others on other disks.

Then, select an image and choose whether you want to move the image to the selected folder or want to delete it (moving it to recycle bin).

But maybe you accidentally delete or move an image and think ‘Oh, why did I do that? Can I undo this?’. Yes, you can. Simply press undo. You would not believe how much of a pain this is to achieve for the recycle bin. But it was worth it, I hope.
