PassBox is an easy to use password manager that securely stores personal information such as passwords, logins, account numbers and more. Never again forget important passwords or details and keep them all in one safe place. PassBox currently offers these features: * Secure storage for logins, passwords, account numbers, and PINs. * Notes and extra details can be stored as well, allowing you to keep any kind of information safe. * Search entries with on-the-spot filtering, allowing you to easily find what you’re looking for. * Organize entries with user-defined categories. * Copy details to clipboard for easy access. * Generate random and secure passwords. * Optionally set a master password to protect your information; reaching a login limit results in the secured data being destroyed.

PassBox is a straightforward and practical software solution whose main purpose is to organize all the passwords in an efficient manner, as well as generate strong-encrypted passwords with ease. The main window of the application is very simple and intuitive and since it has a modern-looking interface, resembling the one used in Windows 8, you are able to insert as many passwords as you want, generate new ones and backup the created database. Once the program is started, you are required to set up a new password so you can protect all your data from unauthorized users; optionally, you can specify an e-mail address in case you want to recover the master password. After that, you need to create a new database that will collect and store all the saved passwords. If you want to add a new passcode, you can specify details such as account name, web address and log ID, as well as insert a security question along with its answer. What’s more, PassBox enables you to quickly generate passwords by accessing the proper option available in the main window. Simply set the password length you are interested in and tick the proper checkbox in case you want to include special characters. Once the ‘Generate’ button is pressed, the proper field will be filled up with the new password that can be copied to clipboard. If you want to open a specific database, backup it or restore data from an existing *.psb file, you can easily access the ‘Manage Data’ option. Since the application uses a combination of MDF and DES algorithms, you can rest assured that no one will be able to decrypt your passwords, unless it will have access to the program installed into your computer. To sum things up, PassBox comes in handy for users who need to manage and generate new passwords with just a click of a button, including special characters as well.
