Audio Video Converter is, as its name indicates, an audio and video converting tool developed by Armenian Dictionary Software Inc. This piece of software follows the same criterion of all the application produced by Armenian Dictionary Software Inc., the extreme simplicity. The application is composed by three main modules to know:

1. Video Converter.
2. Audio Converter.
3. CD Ripper.

Let’s describe briefly each one of the three modules.
Video Converter:
Video Converter is an easy-to-use yet powerful application that allows converting video files among any of the following formats: AVI, MPEG, WMV, VCD, DVD, and To Audio. For each video format you can configure some parameters such as video size, fps, audio format, compression type, among others.
The application provides the users with a preview screen and tools to browse files. It also allows applying some visual effects like: flip, mirror, emboss, gray scale, negative, windy, sharp, blur, among others.
The down side of this tool is that it doesn’t allow extracting fragments of an original video as you change the video format. In the trial version you will be able to convert only 50% of the input video.

Audio Converter:
Audio Converter is an easy-to-use yet powerful application that allows converting audio files among any of the following formats: MP3, WAV, WMA, and OGG. For each audio format you can configure the following parameters: sample, bitrate, channel (stereo, join stereo, and mono), and quality.
The application provides the users with a preview interface and tools to browse files. It will ask the destination folder for the output file upon conversion.
The down side of this tool is that it doesn’t allow extracting fragments of an original audio file as you change the audio format. In the trial version you will be able to convert only 50% of the input audio.

CD Ripper:
This is a classic CD ripper application that allows you downloading an audio CD to your hard drive, as you convert the files to some audio compressed format. The formats available to compress the CD are the same of the Audio Converter tool: MP3, WAV, WMA, and OGG.
On the top section of the window you choose the letter of the drive in which you insert the CD to rip. Right below there is a list displaying the included tracks. You can tick the checkboxes corresponding to the tracks you want to extract. The bottom section allows you to choose the output format and output directory for the new files. Once again, you can configure some parameters for the compressed files as commented in the Audio Converter section.
